Creative mandate for the home:
This studio space had been on the market for 3 months at the same price we brought it to market at, with no action. Originally being shown empty, it was hard for potential buyers to envision how to use the space and what the possibilities were.
As the listing agent for this property I was able to offer my client staging services at a lower cost than what he would have to pay if it was outsourced. We rented the large pieces and I brought in the art, accents, rugs, bedding, etc. to bring the space to life.
Being a one bedroom apartment on the Upper East side asking $495K, the target market for this apartment was a young individual looking to purchase their starter home. The aesthetic and functionality of the space was designed to fulfill their needs, with a desk in the living room, large dining table for entertaining, and spacious living area.
After one week on the market we had multiple offers and the apartment ended up selling for over the asking price.
