Creative mandate for the home:

This project began with a clear goal: to transform a cookie-cutter white box apartment into a home with warmth, depth, and character. Designed for a single homeowner who fully trusted our vision, the result is a space that feels both remarkable and entirely unique.

The serene primary bedroom is wrapped in a soft, hand-applied green limewash, creating a cocoon-like atmosphere that feels calm yet refined. Paired with a navy upholstered bed, textural linens, and curated artwork, the space balances masculine grounding with subtle warmth. In the walk-in closet, linen wallcovering introduces a quiet layer of luxury.

The kitchen and dining area were completely gutted and reimagined. Deep navy cabinetry contrasts with light uppers and a charcoal stone countertop, while ribbed ceramic backsplash panels add unexpected texture and edge. A bold, geometric wallpaper enlivens the dining nook, where custom seating and sculptural lighting create a welcoming spot for entertaining. The mix of clean-lined furnishings and playful pattern mirrors the client’s charismatic energy.

To unify the rest of the home, the hallway was refreshed with a two-tone paint treatment, adding visual interest to an otherwise transitional space. The guest bedroom was kept airy and light, with layered neutrals, tailored drapery, and soft textures that invite relaxation while maintaining continuity with the home’s refined palette.

This transformation is a testament to what’s possible when creative freedom meets thoughtful design: a once-generic apartment reimagined into a home full of personality, comfort, and enduring style.
