Creative mandate for the home:
A repeat client (Midtown East Portfolio) reached out when she bought her second home in beautiful Buck Hill Falls, PA.
Wanting to honor the bones of the home while making it a perfect home for entertaining large groups of people.
This project has unfolded in stages, with still a large kitchen renovation, master suite/bathroom renovation, and terrace expansion coming in 2023. The first phase was to furnish, accessorize, and give a face lift to the existing bathrooms.
Since Buck Hill Falls is a community in the the Pocono mountains, the aesthetic of the space was drawn from a mixture of rustic and contemporary elements. Many of the accessories were pulled from local vintage and second hand stores in the area, the artwork has been collected through the clients travels, and the furnishings were sourced from a variety of places around the country.
On the first floor there are two separate seating areas, a grand piano, and a large dining area. The second floor has a living room, library, and master suite. The third floor has 3 guest rooms and two guest bathrooms.
Our client wanted each room to have it's own color theme, as well as each guest bathroom. Below is a small selection of the spaces we have shot so far. Our main goal was to make the space feel fresh, cozy, and honor the bones of this beautiful old home.
