Discovery Call
Here we learn about your goals, your progress, and discuss how we can assist with your project.
Proposal
We provide a proposal that breaks down the scope of work, design services that will be provided, and total design hours.
Collaboration
Time to dive in and hit the ground running. We will send you a questionnaire with some preliminary questions to understand more about you and your vision. You will share some inspiration images of your vision, and then design development begins.
Design Development
Design direction/concept board developed to ensure we have captured your design aesthetic and direction accurately before we dive in to source all items.
Design comes to life.
Here we source and present a complete visual board of all the products and architectural elements we are suggesting to bring your design to life. This will include cabinets, countertops, lighting, wall coverings, millwork, flooring, furniture, artwork, etc.
Procrurement
We order, track, and handle all aspects of your products from approval to install. If custom items are specified or artwork is commissioned, we collaborate with the builders & artists to bring those items to life.
Installation & Accessorizing
We complete your design by accessorizing your home, hanging artwork, and anything else needed for that magazine ready look.
Consultation
We will visit the site of your project and/or meet in person to review the architectural drawings Here we walk the space together and discuss the design directions more extensively.
Contract
Once the proposal is approved, we will send our contract, which offers transparent details on the process and how we work.
Site Survey
First we need the lay of the land, literally.
We will come and take measurements of the entire space (floor plan, furnishings that will remain, art, electrical items, etc).
Layouts & Trades People
Our team will compile 2-3 layout options of your space and present them to you. Once you decide exactly how you want your space to be utilized, we can begin meeting with trades people to collect several bids for your project.
Finalizing design & coordinating with team
Once we have your feedback on the actual product designations we will adjust the items you wish to change and order samples for final approval. Once samples are signed off on, we can start placing orders.
Project Fulfillment
Working alongside the General Contractor, we ensure the details specified are properly executed as they work on your home. We do not manage their team, but we do site visits regularly and solve problems together.
Final Reveal
After everything you have been patiently waiting for, your new space is revealed!

FLOOR PLANS
We collaborate with your architect on any existing plans to provide insight on furnishing usability and flow.
If plans have not been drawn, we work with you and your architect to create highly efficient layouts that feel good to move through.
Interior designers consider both furniture placement options in a a layout as well as sight lines, a 3D way of considering layouts.
MATERIAL SELECTIONS
Our onboarding process informs us of your design aesthetic and goals of the space. As a developer, it informs us of your target market/demographic, so we know who we are designing for.
First we determine the design direction, with several mood boards and drawings that illustrate concepts we are suggesting.
Once we have nailed down a design direction, we source all the materials needed (floors, walls, cabinets, lighting, etc.) and present to you for approval.

WORKING TOGETHER

Sarah’s first challenge was interpreting our design style. My husband and I only knew our dislikes and not the design terms for anything. Next she had to design our two-story entryway that led into a fireplace area that is open on three sides as it is basically a pivot point from the foyer straight into the two-story living room or into the adjacent open kitchen.
My husband and I were stumped with how to make it all flow while also maximizing use of each space. Amazingly Sarah was able to fully capture our vision as well as open our minds to a more fresh modern version of our initial preferences.
Sarah truly cared about us as people and as clients. She wanted to push the envelope but while making sure we were comfortable with her choices along the way.
